I swapped out my plexiglass windshield for real auto glass (from a glass shop) and never liked how much the frame shook in the wind. So I made this quick bracket that took ALL the wiggle out. If you're still running plexiglass, I'd probably recommend getting two.


I used the existing holes in the dash to install nut rivets. If you don't have a nut rivet crimper, you can use the extra nut and reach up from underneath instead.


For $30 (includes shipping), you get:

• 1 bracket with a stainless nut rivet already installed on top
• 2 – 1/4" stainless steel Phillips pan head bolts
• 2 – 1/4" stainless lock washers
• 1 – 1/4" nut rivet (requires a rivet tool; you'll need to drill the hole out bigger to fit)
• 1 – 1/4" stainless nut (use this if you don't have a nut rivet crimper)

I can also do two full setups for $40 (includes shipping).

JCYPHERT, Nice job! I was just going to put a solid L bracket on mine and only attach it on that small dash area like you did.

I notice the same flex while driving mine.
