Hi, I’m seriously considering a Roxor and selling my 24 Ranger 570. My wife and I mostly ride secondary and dirt/gravel roads and I’m constantly turning 6000 to 8000 rpms. It may be next year before I can get one but I’m definitely looking at them..,,

I was a Polaris guys all my life, till I saw the price on a HD1500 Ranger and the trade in value they shot me aon a 2018 Fully Loaded Rager with 2000 miles......then I was done. If you're just cruising roads and a little trails, you'll like the Roxor. It'll last 10X longer than any Ranger will...

I suggest riding in one before committing to a purchase. The ride is pretty harsh compared to a SXS. If you have a bad back or knee's, you will be chasing a way to make it ride softer. I agree with you on the high revving 2 cylinder. It's obnoxious. I have a Polaris Rzr as well as a Roxor. the Rzr is like riding on a cloud at 60 MPH, but its loud.

What Colderweather says is accurate. I come from the ATV and side by side work. My Roxor, and soon to be second Roxor, got the Climax long travel treatment very soon after I purchased it. Congenital back/hip issues have lead to lifelong nerve pain and I make everything as comfortable as possible to still enjoy the great outdoors. I'd venture to guess 90% of Roxor owners don't mind the ride, but for me it wasn't going to be possible without significantly softening the ride. You may not mind it at ALL in factory form, just drive it and make an informed decision.

I still wouldn't go back to Polaris unless it was a situation where I could own both. Owning a Roxor is as close as I'll ever be able to get to affording a "brand new" classic jeep. They are for totally different uses and purposes, and impossible to have both without OWNING both.

I meet with my back surgeon next week to discuss what he is going to do, and get me on the schedule. When I got my Roxor 5 years ago it wasn't so bad, but now, I can barely tolerate a trip around the yard, even with all the mods I have done. I will be putting 42's on it this weekend. That should make the ride a night a day difference from the ag tires I have on it now.

As was said above, a Roxor is pretty much a brand new CJ3 Vintage Jeep. I have over 5K on my 2024. It does have a few improvements over a CJ3 like a larger door opening, and a much better engine. The door opening is a Plus and Minus thing. Much handier to get in and out of, but it will not accept Jeep Doors. I would give up the larger door opening if Jeep Doors would work. I still have my 2015 Polarus 570 Full Size, with no plan to buy another one.

I left Polaris for same reasons. Tired of plastic too. Roxor is like 4x4ing in the 50s and 60s. It’s slow and bumpy and I really like it. Just changing the shocks was a 500% improvement in ride. I’ve got a 24 and will eventually get some larger tires and that’ll give another huge improvement.
