Something different my '96 Tacoma

I work part time at a fab shop. We were working on a customers '55 Ford truck and he came in with a '55 grill that he bought at a yard sale. Problem is the grill was too narrow for his pickup as it was from a Ford C.O.E.. The grill was about 8" too narrow. I picked it up and walked out to my Tacoma and held it up to the front end. The rest is history. My oldest son says it looks like a frog.

A great random idea for a house project! The parts in C.O.E. are so bizarrely shaped and whether or not you can fit a ‘55 heavy-truck grill on a modern Tacoma is just a once-in-a-generation custom job.
I was just taking some time to look at the build pictures while unwinding with my hayati pro max pods after work and I have to say, your son calling it a frog just makes sense in THE BEST way. Personality is always more attractive than the standard bolt on front end anyway.

Thanks for the props!! It was a fun project and before that grill showed up I wasn't even thinking about changing the front end of my farm truck.
Best 5 days I had spent in a long time!
