I knew it couldn’t be impossible, and we finally got a chance to get started and do a little mocking up today. We will keep everyone updated on the process, looks like this will be a pretty easy neat little conversion. This was a factory CJ windshield and factory yj doors. Will require modification for sure but doesn’t look like it will take anything crazy.

Unfortunately Rifleman 1981 has not been on here since 2022.
We sure lost a lot of good information with the reporting on this conversion ending where it did.

From the picture it looks like the windshield works, However from other research that I have done the top of the windshield is lower than the factory ROPE's, requiring a rebuild of the front of the Roll Bars. ADVANTAGE of using a Jeep Windshield: Improved Wipers over aftermarket Roxor parts, Ability to fold down the glass on the hood. Better angle for Jeep Door Conversion to seal up. Note: From my research YJ wipers are improved over CJ5/7 Wipers used on Jeeps.

The doors look to bolt up ok using the Jeep Hinges. We will need to see what was required to get the back and top of the doors mated up, and the latching mechanism to work. My guess is blending in side panels from a donor YJ. It looks like Rifleman 1981 was working with YJ Full Doors with roll up glass. It sure would have been nice for him to have finished the journey with us on this project.

I will try and pick up the ball on this project.
