If there is a webmaster here, what can you do to get rid of these bots?
I’m tired of AI bots on this forum - or people who use this forum so they can train AI. I guess it takes real people to create a profile on this forum and then train algorithms.

Downsouth from Oregon and Alexsan147 from UK have the same opening stony about owning a Jeep that broke the timing chain at 5K when going through a puddle.
This is a friendly forum. We all want welcome a new member and exchange Roxor info - preferably with a human. Sad directing this is headed.
All reading this, here are some hints on AI generated msgs plus some recent examples from this forum:
- posts are generic and could fit any vehicle / technical forum - and they very likely show up with the same intro in dozens of forums.
- posts have a lot of weird detail - unnecessary detail, friendly sounding: a jeep where the timing chain broke after only 5k miles while going through a foot deep puddle, a leaking modular roof. Alesan147, Downsouth
- asking for a manual for a vehicle. What? A bicycle? Kyiv
- asking for advise on parts that have nothing to do with a particular form (i.e. a cover for a mule.
- asking for info on lockers and claiming to be a webmaster for a website for lockers. Anya
- asking for info on offroad racing applications
- asking for suggestions on how to fix something seemingly unrelated to the forum I.e. “I dropped a ring in the driver side vent’. A driver side vent on a Roxor? Kyiv
- they chime into the middle of a thread and say “thanks for the offer but I do not participate in review for paid shipment” when there was no six thing discussed in the thread. Kyiv
Or they talk about a game controller in the twin stick thread. Subhanseo
- don’t reply if the post sounds like it has the above characteristics.
- don’t provide phone numbers or your email in your post - just as you would not write them on a toilet stall in a truck stop. Ask someone to contact you with a personal message: click on the member name, the click on Start Conversation.
I will leave this post up for some time and then delete it as I have with my other AI related posts. This forum should be about Roxors - not AI.
