The Roxor I believe is closest to a CJ3 with around 78 years of refinements, and changes for various reasons.
We still have Dana 44 19 Spline Axles same as used on a CJ3.
The Dana Spicer 18 Transfer Case was used in the CJ3 and early CJ5 Jeeps and I am sure other models. It has been refined a little over the years also.
Mahindra went to the more modern Single Stick Shifter. Again I would have left it a Twin Stick. Much handier if you use your Roxor for more than running around. A large percentage of us would use low range a lot more with a handy to use Twin Stick Shifter.
The body is a little longer than the CJ's. The longer wheel base improves the ride. I had a buddy who had a CJ5 that I rode in a lot years ago. My Roxor rides a lot smoother. Also handier to get in and out of.
NOTE: If I had designed the Roxor, it would have been built to be both CJ Windshield and CJ or YJ Door Friendly. Using Jeep Doors and a Jeep Windshield would make life a lot easier for us Roxor owners. Not to mention if it could use a Fiberglass CJ7 Top. Being able to use Jeep Doors, a Jeep Windshield, and a CJ7 Top would have made the Roxor Much better than it is.
The Tail Gate has been changed to the more modern swing open design. The original drop down tailgate would be a lot handier for farm use. However the drop down tail gate would not be Spare Tire Carrier friendly. My understanding is the Tail Gate can be changed back to drop down without a lot of trouble.
I have Jeep Side Mirrors on mine. They do fit.
You can use a Jeep Windshield, however the ROPES would need redesigned around the CJ Windshield. If you have a good fabricator, this is not a bad conversion.
As was said above not very many Jeep Parts will work as is.
You can buy enough Roxor aftermarket parts to make a great machine.
The one place that aftermarket has really let us down is DOORS. We could really use a set of stand alone metal doors, with roll up windows.
Enjoy Your Roxor. It is still about as good as it gets for those of us who like the old CJ Jeeps.
