Looking at a Roxor but need to be able to use it for local errands in order to justify getting one for SWMBO. How much will it costs and how practical will it be to make it street legal in Florida?

USMC just gave a good rundown under the Ontherox receiver posting of FL registering. A bare stock new unit can be had for around 17k but it will come unadorned, like a Mr. Potato head.

I understand that Mahindra does not offer a factory road legal model. I understand that Fl is one if the states that will allow the Roxor on the road after certain modifications have been made. Seeking information from anyone who has made that journey.

I have a 2022 Roxor that is street legal in Texas. I had it re-titled in Montana by DirtLegal. I put all the necessary equipment on it that would be required by the State of Texas in case I might be pulled over.
Blinkers-windshield-wipers-mirrors - license plate -etc.
It’s for sale to anyone who may not want to go through the hassle of having it done. It’s listed in the For Sale post on this forum.
Make me an offer. Don 713/962/4608 Text or call and leave a message.

Been doing a bit of digging on this matter. From what I understand that end run around state requirements using dirt legal is a bit sketchy. You fly under the radar and hopefully remain there but if something happens you may find yourself in a pickle. These machines are neither fish nor fowl in the eyes of the law. Too fast to get a pass as slow moving farm vehicle, too heavy for this or that, too much HP………I may abandon this project as being unrealistic and just get a nice clean older CJ5.

We do know that it’s pretty much up to the discretion of the guy who pulls you over. But if he runs the tags he will see that it is legal according to Montana law.
That’s why I put all the stuff on there to make it as legal as possible.
A nice clean CJ5 is a good idea. I have a 24’ Jeep Wrangler and a 2004 Jeep Wrangler. They are both nice.
My Roxor is great but open to funky weather.
That’s the only reason I have it for sale. It’s a very nice machine. Runs great and looks very nice.
