Digital Instrument Gauge Issues

Changed out my battery and ever since then, my instrument gauge will flash about every 10 seconds. Even when the key is off. It starts just fine runs great with no issues until you shut it off. Then it will flash over and over until I pull the ground connector from the battery. Checked all fuses and relays there all good, looked at the wiring for any frays, nothing. Now when I hooked up my OBD 2 to the battery to test it, it told me to turn on the headlights which I did and shortly after that it gave a message saying headlights were not detected even though they WERE on. Please help
